Aqua Cardio Classes

During the month of September, by request, we are hosting 4 weekly Aqua Cardio classes in the Tranquility Pool.

On the following days and times, Tranquility will ONLY be available to the Aqua Cardio class members between

8:00 AM and 9:00 AM:

Sunday 

Monday

Online and On-Site Classes Available

We are very excited to announce the return of on-site studio classes during the month of August for our guests and members. We have hand-selected the classes listed below based on feedback from our members and guests and look forward to the possibility of introducing more options as demand and availability dictates. Please be aware that, in order to stay aligned with the mandates of our Governor, we have a few guidelines that we ask you adhere to while utilizing the studio classes.

  • When entering the building, we ask that you wear a face mask and observe all social distancing protocols (10 ft in fitness/ pool areas and 6ft throughout the rest of the facility)
  • In order to minimize the possibility of overbooking the classes, we also ask that you please sign up for the class that you wish to attend, you may do this by contacting the front desk. Due to the limited capacity of the classes, we are only booking them 24 hours in advance.
  • The Spa also requires that all class participants check-in at the front desk and fill out our Class Intake form prior to attending any classes within the building. You will have 2 options for completing this form. One is at check-in at the front desk, the second option will be a link that can be found in your confirmation email when you pre-book your class. We highly recommend that you fill out this form prior to arriving or that you arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your class start time to minimize any potential delay to joining your scheduled class.
  • Due to the imposed social distancing mandates, we ask that you arrive no more than 15 minutes prior to your scheduled class and remain no more than 15 minutes after your class has ended so that the other members and guests may utilize the fitness facilities as well.
  • Due to staffing limitations, locker rooms will have no attendants before 10am but downstairs showers and lockers will be open for use before and after your classes. There will also be no use of the wet lounge as per the Governors direction under Phase 3.

7:45 am – Spin (50 min – max capacity 4) – Thomas

Tuesdays & Thursdays 

An aerobic exercise class that is appropriate for all fitness levels as intensity can be controlled by the individual participating. Clip-in cycling shoes are optional; but bring your water bottle!

9:00 AM – Pilates (50 min – max capacity 4) – Jill

Saturdays

A relaxing, yet invigorating mat workout that strengthens and stretches every muscle in the core (other muscles too)

8:00 am – Aqua Cardio – (50 min – max capacity 8)

Sunday – Meg  / Monday – Bambi / Wednesday – Gail  / Saturday – Bambi

Submerge yourself as you experience this high-energy aquatic routine that challenges the cardiovascular and muscular systems through a combination of aerobic and muscular toning exercises.

8:00 AM – De-Stress Restorative Yoga – (50 min) – Bambi

Restorative yoga will calm and reset your entire body and mind. The poses are held for longer time periods which allow the nervous system to transition and release stress and tension. Recenter your breath and body – aligning the physical and mental by practicing stillness or gentle movement for a deeper slower practice.
