Pool Information & Policies

In addition to The Spa of Colonial Williamsburg’s twelve treatment rooms, three pedicure stations, four hairdressing stations, selection of lounges, and fitness center, The Spa of Colonial Williamsburg’s 20,000 sq. ft. facility is equipped with three pools for guests to enjoy.

Pool Policies

Age Requirements

• Pools: Anyone under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult (18 or older). There is no lifeguard on duty. No guest should swim alone.
• Use of hot tub under the age of 18 is prohibited.

Facility Rules

• Facility is only for Wellness Members and their guests as well as guests of the Williamsburg Inn, Colonial Houses, Griffin Hotel, and Williamsburg Lodge.
• All guests and members must sign in prior to using the facilities each time.
• Appropriate fitness and swimwear attire is required in the facility
• If not familiar with our equipment, please ask a staff member for assistance
• Audio equipment without headphones is prohibited
• Aerobics room & pools are not available during classes, special events, or personal training sessions
• Indoor/ Outdoor pools are reserved daily for lap swim, classes, and special events. Families are welcome 10am – closing.
• Lap swim is one person per lane only.
• Tranquility pool closes at sunset.
• No outside food or beverages
• No coolers
• No glass
• No smoking
• No Pets
• Appropriate footwear is required in the facility and in the fitness center.

Pool Closings

• In the event of inclement weather, all pools will be closed, including the indoor pool.
• Events affecting pool water quality will result in pool closures.

THERE IS NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY, NO GUEST SHOULD SWIM ALONE
