Colonial Williamsburg is Drumming Up Some Family Fun at This Year’s Drummer’s Call!

Get ready to step back in time and experience the stirring sounds of history at Colonial Williamsburg’s Drummer’s Call, happening the weekend of May 17th and 18th!

This free event is a celebration of military music from America’s past, featuring the Colonial Williamsburg Fifes & Drums alongside fife and drum units from across the country.

What to Expect:

  • Friday, May 17th: The weekend kicks off with “Successful Campaign,” an evening performance of traditional military music by the Colonial Williamsburg Fifes & Drums Senior Corps and a special guest at the Governor’s Palace Stage.
  • Saturday, May 18th: Witness a grand march and review as the Colonial Williamsburg Fifes & Drums lead visiting corps from the Capitol down Duke of Gloucester Street to Market Square. Each group will then perform for the crowd.
  • Saturday Night: Don’t miss the thrilling Williamsburg Military Tattoo, featuring a combined march down Duke of Gloucester Street by the Colonial Williamsburg Fifes & Drums and all the visiting units.
