  • Operational Updates: See what locations are open or have extended operating hours in accordance with specific safety protocols designed for each site, consistent with the state’s requirements. Visit CWResorts Updates
  • Face Coverings: All guests are required to wear face coverings when indoors public areas per Virginia Executive Order 63. The wearing of face coverings outdoors is optional, but recommended. Face coverings will be worn by Colonial Williamsburg staff. Affordably priced face coverings will be available for guests to purchase in all Colonial Williamsburg retail outlets.
  • Capacity: Capacities for indoor spaces as well as the number of individuals permitted for each location, tour, or event/program will be determined based on physical distancing and group size limit protocols.
  • Physical Barriers: We will be adding plexiglass partitions at locations where guests queue to provide an extra level of protection for our guests and staff.
  • Signage: Signage in public spaces will remind guests to maintain at least 6ft distance from other groups of people not traveling with them, this will include standing in lines, using elevators, or moving around the resort.
  • Dining: TheWilliamsburg Lodge restaurants are open daily for Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. Guests can enjoy curbside, take-out, and outdoor  dining options throughout the resort. For hours, menus, and to view all dining options. Visit Dining
    Guests are requred to wear face mask when sitting at a table to dine or while maintaining a 6-foot distance from others in dining locations.
  • Parking and Shuttle: Valet parking is currently paused. Self-parking is available for guests at hotels. New bus procedures will limit the number of passengers per bus to accommodate physical distancing. In accordance with Executive Order 63, face coverings will be required to ride the shuttle bus.

Some experiences—including the Dining Experiences, Guide Tours, and Resort Events—may be modified or unavailable to allow for social distancing and reduced contact. Some details may change, so be sure to check this page often.

*In response to changing marketplace conditions, Colonial Williamsburg Resorts is committed to ensuring our customers experience flexibility during these challenging times.  For guests with existing reservations for any future arrival date, including reservations with pre-paid rates that are typically more restrictive, we will allow full changes or cancellation without a charge up to 72 hours prior to arrival, as long as the change or cancellation is made by June 30, 2020. Any changes to existing reservations will be subject to availability and any rate differences. 

For guests making new reservations for any future arrival date, including reservations with pre-paid rates, between today and June 30, 2020, we will allow the reservation to be changed or cancelled at no charge up to 72-hours before your scheduled arrival date. Please note that changes to the reservation will be subject to availability and any rate differences.

This policy does not apply to travel associated with a Group booking. For guests with Group reservations (e.g., for meetings, events or conferences), please review the booking rate rules and contact the group organizer for more information.
